Organalia - 2010 Ekklesia, the review organ of the Province of Turin, arrives this weekend and Almese San Gillio. Concludes his third tour, dedicated to the Valle di Susa, and begins its fourth and final journey: "From the Earth West to the first capital of Italy. "
The last concert of the third route will take place Saturday, September 25 Almese at 21:15 in the Church of the Nativity of Mary, which houses a magnificent organ built in 1971 by the Brothers Ruffatti in Padua.
the console will sit Guido Donati, professor of organ and organ composition at the Conservatory G. Verdi of Turin. The church has two organs: a main organ built by John Brown in the late eighteenth and early nineteenth century, placed in the counter, and an organ built by Rosario Chichi minor in 1972, placed on the floor surface. The organist will use both bodies to run a program dedicated to Bernardo Pasquini and his school. In addition to songs will be Pasquini it features music by Della Ciaja, Zipoli, Casini and Muffat.
Bruno Bergamini was born in Turin, he graduated with Guido Donati in Organ and Choral Music, and studied composition. Since 1979, the sanctuary is titular organist of St. Pancras in Pianezza. He soon began his concert career, adding to that of composer and choir director. His Toccata for organ was published by Edizioni Berben, and in 1990 he created for the Fonola a CD dedicated to the Italian organ music of the 700 who received the highest score by the magazine Amadeus critics.
